Update 1.5 This Weekend

Hi all, 

Just dropping in to update everyone on the next update. 

Here's what's going to be in the update.

Side Missions for NPCs 

There are currently 4 in the game, one for Lydia, one for Tanya, and two for Mira. 

First part of Main Quest

Remember that crime spree that I've been hinting towards since the demo? Well, now you're finally going to get to do something about it. Though it's only the beginning, hopefully it'll be enough to have you intrigued – I won’t spoil anything though.

Weapons, Forging, Teammates and Combat.

After copious amounts of tea/coffee and banging my head against the table – I managed to get the bloody forging to actually work. Through Tanya, you can buy the Scythe, the Long Sword, and the Katana. You'll be able to forge them to level 4 through buying shards through Tanya and finding Chunks on missions. 

Combat is also in the game.

You'll be able to forge them in one of the following.

· Razor, 
· Venom, 
· Fire 
· Ice.

You'll be able to recruit Mira, Tanya, or both to your party provided your affection is high enough. Please note that you can only have them both for main story quests. Obviously, this will change in the future.

New Art

As shown in previous posts I’ve been creating new artwork for NPCs and Nami. So expect to see Nami and all her current costumes with their new art. They’ll also be art for Nami masturbation command and the chibi art for successful or unsuccessful cooking. What won’t be in this update will be the defeated art for the female avatar as I’m really going to focus on her in the update after this.

I've also added a brand new shop to the shop, the jewelry shop. You'll now be able to buy pieces of jewelry, which can help raise your slave's mood, beauty, and refinement.   

Brand New Locations and Maps

There are several new maps for you to explore in the game. Along with the Weapons Shop, there is the police station (where you can part take in VR battles to grind some Exp), there are also new maps for the various side missions including a small wood, an abandoned mine (which is just one of the stocks maps in the game) and the story related maps. 

Overhaul of Game Mechanics, general tweaking, and balancing

There are various skills which you and your slave can learn. Tiredness has been changed to Stamina. You can now grade slaves, or buy them back and then there has been the general tweaking to make the game runner smoother.

New Nami

Just a quickie blog today, because I think it's good to keep you guys up to date. I just wanted to show the new Nami model that will be in the game. There is a high res version on my Pateron for all those who have pledged. If you pledge (not pay, pledge) as little as dollar you'll gain access to it and the others ;)

Changes to Mechanics and Sneak Peek of Mira

Hi everyone, this is just a quick update to inform you guys of something. So, I've decided to the change the way you sell your slave. What happens now is that your slaves are graded from Bronze to Platinum. 

Obviously, Platinum is the highest and will yield the best payout - for example - a Platinum Maid is worth 25.000g.

There are three standards currently in the game - for more to come in future updates.

The Standards are 

Guild

Maid 

Sex 

However, if this doesn't appeal to you, fear not. The Lonely Hearts Agency is still in the game. If the standardised selling is for you, you can still find a client from there and tailor your slave to their liking.

In fact, the buyers from the LHA will give the highest payout, however, they require the most work as the clients are very precise in what they want from a potential wife. 

And before I go, here is a sneak peek of a work in progress of Mira. Mira is a character who was first introduced in the demo and the person you can buy moods orbs from - Mira has fantastic orbs!

NPC Sneak Peek: Tanya

Hi everyone, 

Just checking in to let everyone know I'm working hard on the game and everything is going surprisingly well. On my Patreon, I gave a sneak peek of one of the new NPCs in the game, Tanya.
Tanya plays an important role in the game. If you give her the right stone and she'll upgrade your weapons - for a price, of course. But that hammer isn't just for show! She can be a powerful ally in more ways than one! She also acts a weapons merchant for convenience sake.

While the picture is very much a work in progress and I'm not sure I like the pose - seems too stiff - I thought I would share. Higher resolution available on my Patreon page.

Going Big or Going Home

This is a post I've written out a few times because I'm trying to think of the best way to convey my thoughts to you. Let’s start with the easy stuff, Happy New Year to you all, I hope you all didn’t get too hammered.

So what have I added to the game? Well...

Weapon Forging

Something that’s been on the cards for a long time now, I only recently managed to get working.
You’ll be able the following weapons:

·         Sharp – Inflicts Bleeds
·         Fire – Can Inflict Burn
·         Ice – Can Freeze
·         Venom - I’m sure you can work it out.

What’s that? Am I a fan of the Souls games? Well, yeah, actually. How’d you know? In all seriousness, this is something I’ve been trying to work with for a while now and I only recently managed to crack it. The system is far from the most elegant of systems. As with most of Servus its menus and text boxes because of engine limitations.

I’m sure there are scripts out there which would make this easier, but when I downloaded some scripts and try to use them, it was just a hassle – though that could be due to my own retardedness. They’ll be more upgradable things coming in the future, but right now I think four is a good start.

Player Mission/Story Missions

The first main mission is nearly done. Originally, it was done, but I didn’t like it... so I scrapped it and started again because I wanted to make something interesting with it. I’ve added some more sub-missions, including one for Mira’s to increase your relationship with her. (More below)

New NPCs

There are a few new NPCs in the game for you to interact with. Some offer missions, others will sell you things.

Party System

When interacting with certain NPCs, you’ll be able to spend time with them. You’ll be able to do missions to help strength the relationship and even purchase gifts for them. When the time is right for you to go on a mission, you’ll be able to enlist them to come and help you on quests.

Trainable Skills

Though barebones at the moment, you’ll be able to train your slave to gain certain skills. This will play into the endings when you sell the slave as certain skills will be wanted by potential buyers. You can also increase your slave’s stamina.

Tweaking Core Mechanics

This is minor, but the amount of changes I had to do is nuts. I’ve changed tiredness to general stamina. So now, instead of increasing tiredness, you’re now depleting stamina. Why wasn’t it also like this? Because I am retarded.

Buying back Slaves

You can now buy your slave back. You’ll have to train your slave up to the same standards as you would were you to normally sell them, but then you’ll have to spend double to have them for yourself. Furthermore, you won’t gain a cut from doing the task.

On the plus side, does mean you’ll be able to end the time limited on your contract and then have freedom to do what you want with them and also complete their perfect endings.

Brand new Slave Art Work/NPC portraits

As I get more familiar with Oda’s styles, I’ve been refining Nami since. What I want to do is have my own characters stand in contrast to the actual famous characters, purely to illustrate the fact that the famous characters are Otherworldly. I also want to expand the expression shown by the slave as you train them. I’ve added below a sheet – my Paterons have an expanded version and a higher res version of the New Nami body.

   
So, as you can see this is a lot to add and it is. I’m also playing around with animation for the sex scenes, with some mixed result – but it’s something I’d like to add down the line. This is what’s going to be in the next update. I’ve already managed to do a lot, but not as much as I would have liked because of Christmas/New Year. As a result, I’m pushing it back to the end of January/Early February. I hope you all understand.
