Servus Kingdom MV

Christ, what a month. See, this is why I want to make working on Servus Kingdom, and other games in general, a full-time gig. Anyway, long story, I've been very, very, very busy this month with work, meaning I've had little time to work on the actual game.

Anyway, I'm moving over to RPGMaker MV. I know people will be disappointed by this, but I think that, in the long term, it's the better choice. This due to main 3 factors.

1. I'm currently learning Java-Scripting, which is the coding language of MV. This would potentially allow me greater flexibly later on - though I'm still a total noob!

2. It would give me much more freedom in regards to events and mapping.

3. I find a lot of appeal in the idea of my Patreons, downloading the game to their phones and playing it when they're on the train or whatever. It also means people with Macs and Linux can play the game. I might also be able to have a version of the game running on the site for people to play.

Those are the main reasons, which I hope make sense to everyone. On the downside, the amount of content for MV is lacking compared to VXAce. This has meant I've had to upscale tilesets and sprites. This isn't really a big deal, just tedious. As the game progresses I plan to have my own custom sprites anyway - it's just time.

So yeah, sorry for the long silence, hope to see you all again soon for Servus Kingdom MV and then we can discuss the next slave - will it be Classic Lara or Tifa Lockhart?
